HaloClinic: Salt therapy online — professional and personal

Haloclinic.nl is the website of HaloClinic Netherlands, a clinic specialised in halotherapy (salt therapy) with locations in Zaandam and Heemstede. With more than 15 years of experience and 750+ Google reviews, HaloClinic helps thousands of clients with respiratory complaints, skin conditions and allergies. For this client we designed and built a complete Framer website that builds trust, informs and encourages visitors to book a (free) appointment.

The site combines a warm, professional look with rich informative content and multiple conversion points. The result: a website that serves existing clients and persuades new visitors.

1. A health clinic must radiate trust from the first moment

HaloClinic focuses on people with chronic respiratory conditions (asthma, COPD, bronchitis), allergies (hay fever), skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis) and long-COVID symptoms. Many visitors encounter halotherapy for the first time and need information and reassurance before they book.

Client goals: A professional, informative website that explains halotherapy clearly, builds trust through reviews and client stories, and leads visitors with low friction to a free first session.

User insight: The audience ranges from parents with young children to adults with chronic conditions. They look for answers to questions such as “What is halotherapy?”, “Will it help my condition?” and “How do I book?”. Clear information and social proof are essential.

2. A Framer website built for trust and conversion

Based on HaloClinic’s brand identity, we designed a fully custom Framer website with a clear, warm colour palette and a visually rich page structure.

Hero with social proof: The homepage opens with a strong hero including a review badge (750+ reviews, 5/5 stars on Google) and the striking statistic that 9 out of 10 clients have fully stopped medication. Followed immediately by two CTAs: “Book Appointment” and “About Us”.

“Helps with” pages: An extensive section with dedicated information pages per condition: asthma, sinusitis, bronchiectasis, hay fever, eczema, COPD, long COVID and more. Each page includes reading time, publication date and in-depth explanation. This is also a strong SEO strategy that attracts organic traffic around specific complaints.

Children’s page: A dedicated page on halotherapy for children — an important audience for the clinic.

Client stories: An extensive testimonial slider with real client stories including photos and names. From parents whose children stopped medication to adults who found relief after years of symptoms. We built a custom filter so new clients can filter by audience (adults / child) and by condition to find stories relevant to their situation.

Responsiveness: Fully responsive design. The hero, information pages, testimonial slider, blog and contact form work seamlessly on every device.

3. Multiple conversion points towards a free appointment

The entire website is organised around one primary action: booking a free first session.

Booking page: A dedicated reservations page referenced from every page via prominent “Book Free Appointment” buttons. The free first session lowers the barrier as far as possible.

Contact form: A contact form on the homepage and a dedicated contact page for visitors who want to ask a question first.

Two locations: Clear contact details for both clinics (Zaandam and Heemstede) in the footer, including phone numbers, email addresses and Google Maps links.

Blog: An active blog section with articles such as “Skin conditions and halotherapy”, “Dental damage from inhaler medication” and “From multiple puffs a day to almost none”. Aimed at SEO and building authority in the niche.

FAQ section: An expandable FAQ answering common questions about how salt therapy works, safety and practical matters.

Social media: Links to Facebook and YouTube for additional reach and trust.

4. From local clinic to online authority in halotherapy

The website went live as the central digital platform for HaloClinic Netherlands — ready to attract new clients and inform existing ones across both locations.
